Okay, so first off a little about me and how I discovered my unique methods of training, including the secrets I’m going to reveal to you today…

Let properly introduce myself...

Left to right: Tyler Ulis [University Of Kentucky, NBA (Phoenix Suns, Chicago Bulls) Coach Rock, Ahron Ulis [University Of Iowa]

As I just mentioned, my name is Coach Rock.

I’m the founder of Revenge Basketball.

I’ve been coaching and training players for over a decade.

I have worked with players that have played at every level including the NBA, the G League, professionally overseas, College Players, Mcdonald’s all Americans, just about any level you can think of.

But let me take you back before that…

Before I started coaching and training players…

Before I played college basketball.

You see, I wasn’t born with freak athleticism, or the genes to be tall…

I wasn’t born to be a good player…

I had to work for it.

When I was in about 6th or 7th grade I was an average player at best.

But I always wanted to be the go-to guy on the team.

I wanted to be the one that people talked about after games.

I remember plenty of times, sitting on the bench, hearing the parents behind me whisper about how good a player on the court was…

I wanted that player to be me.

But there was one problem...

I wasn’t confident in myself or my game…

And I couldn’t make shots in real games.

It was weird because when I was playing with my friends at home and in the neighborhood I was a decent shooter…

But we all know that it’s much different in a real game.

When the ref was on the court and we were facing another team it’s like everything got worse.

And even though I had a decent handle and could get the team set up in an offense… that wasn’t enough to be a real contributor on the team.

To be the lead player on my team I had to be able to put the ball in the basket.

But I struggled to do so on a consistent basis…

And the lack of confidence and consistency I had in my shot was destroying any chances I had at playing big minutes and becoming that player I wanted to be.

Because I struggled with my shot so much, I always found myself trying to change my shooting form.

One day I would try to shoot like one NBA player…

The next week I was trying to shoot like another one…

Every family member, coach or trainer I asked about shooting would try to tweak an aspect of my shooting form.

I would even save up money I made from mowing grass and washing cars to buy basketball training DVDs to help me with my shooting…

But they would tell me the same thing.

Everywhere I turned I was told to shoot the ball a different way...

Some people told me to square my body, others said don’t….

Some told me to have my shot pocket to the side of my head, others in front of my face…

Some told me to release at the top of my jump, others on the way up…

I was so overwhelmed and confused…

The more shooting form advice I got, the less confident I became.

And even times when I thought I had finally found a good form for me… I would go through a slump and start again from scratch.

Things got so bad that I didn’t even want to take shots in real games…

Seriously, I would pass up wide open shots.

It was really hurting my team and it was costing me minutes.

But then a new trainer moved to our area.

His name was Rodney Carmichael, I call him Coach Carmichael.

This guy was one of the best shooters I had ever seen in my life.

Not only that but in my opinion he’s one of the best coaches and trainers in the world.

A few years before I met him, he was playing professionally in Germany.

He showed me his footage and he was the real deal.

This guy could launch threes effortlessly as soon as he crossed half court.

He was doing what Steph Curry and Damian Lillard are doing, years ago.

I wanted to know his secrets…

So I spent as much time as I could with him, picking his brain and trying to take anything I could…

One day, I finally asked him…

“Man, can you help me fix my shot?”

I still remember his response like it was yesterday…

“Dude, you don’t need to fix your shot. That’s part of the problem. Every week you come in here you have a different shot. Stop changing your form. Besides, your form doesn’t even matter.”

WHAT?

I’m sure you can imagine how shocked I was to hear that…

“Form doesn’t matter? What do you mean? I thought form was the most important part of shooting?”

Then he said…

“Rocky, if form is the most important part of shooting, why is it that all of the best shooters shoot the ball differently? “

“If there was such a thing as perfect form… wouldn’t all the best shooters in the NBA shoot the same? They don’t though.”

I was mind blown… But he was right…

Think about it…

Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kyrie, James Harden, Kevin Durant… all those guys are amazing shooters….

Do they shoot the same?

No they all have completely different shooting forms.

So your form can’t actually be THAT important, can it?

He then said, “Rocky, focusing on form so much and tweaking it all the time is what leads to most players to being inconsistent and unconfident shooters. I mean, how can you be confident in your shot if you’re always changing it?”

I had never thought about it like that before…

But after years of training players I’ve discovered this to be the real reason why many players can’t shoot the ball like they want.

I call it Form Shooting Paralysis (FSP) and most players suffer from it without even knowing it.

They are not confident, not consistent, and not good shooters because of FSP.

I know this because I suffered from it too.

But Coach Carmichael helped me realize that my shooting struggles were not my fault…

Because of the fact that everyone was always trying to get me to change my shooting form to shoot the way they thought was the best, I was never able to build consistency.

So if this has ever happened to you, it’s likely not your fault at all… you’ve just fallen victim to the same trap that I fell into… the same trap that so many players fall into.

What I’ve found is that all players should develop the form that is most comfortable for them.

That’s because it’s the only way they can replicate it and become consistent with it.

And you don’t do that by focusing on your form…

As Coach Carmichael showed me…

You do that by focusing on OTHER aspects of shooting like Framing, Targeting and Arc.

These are ALWAYS overlooked by coaches, trainers, and players.

Don’t worry, I’ll explain more about them in a second…

And I’ll show you how you can use them today to instantly start improving your shooting ability…

But when Coach Carmichael showed me this stuff, it changed my game and it changed my life.

My shooting improved very quickly.

After the first session, focused on these shooting tips, I could already feel my confidence building with each shot.

Within a few weeks my shooting percentage and range increased.

Before I knew it…

I was pulling threes from the volleyball line in REAL games.

For the first time ever, the tips I tried really worked for me…

And I know they will for you too.

But without further ado…

Let’s get right into my 3 most powerful secrets to help you become a consistent and confident shooter in no time.

Secret 1 of 3 To Become a Lights Out Shooter In Real Games

Okay, so secret number 1 is to Frame the basket.

Framing the basket is the “last” part of your shot…

But it is the most important part of the shot.

I will talk about what framing the basketball means in just a second…

But know that by doing it you will make up for any deficits or mistakes in all the other areas of your shot.

So if you were to frame the basket perfectly, it requires both your shooting arm and also your guide hand, or off hand.

Your shooting arm is going to be fully extended with the elbow locked, wrist snapped, and fingers down on the basket.

Your off arm will have a little bend in the elbow and your hand will be to the left of the basket.

You want your shooting arm extended, elbow above eyebrow, elbow locked out, wrist snapped and all fingers pointing down.

If you were to take a freeze “frame” of my follow through and the basket you would see this image..

Now, most people consider this simply as the follow through.

Trainers and coaches always say hold your follow through because they know it’s important…

But they never really emphasize WHY it’s important or what it does, or what it should really look like and why…

Most shooters who aren’t consistent have inconsistent follow throughs when they shoot.

If you look at the great shooters in the NBA like Stephen Curry, this is exactly what their frame looks like every time.

Which is very important because even though we talked about how all the best shooters have different forms… basically all of them finish with the same, or a very similar frame.

If you work on this you can dramatically improve your shooting consistency and confidence.

Now, most coaches are going to teach you footwork first, or where to place the ball in your shot pocket, or tell you to remove your thumb, etc…

And they are not even going to talk about seeing your target.

This is a huge mistake.

If you don’t see your target, and if you aren’t aware of framing your target then you’re never going to know how much you should put into your shot.

So how do you work on this?

First thing I want you to do is to pick ONE spot to shoot from and I recommend that spot being at the three point line from the top of the key.

You want to use the same spot over and over because what you are trying to do is build the SAME frame every time.

You want to build muscle memory first.

So before you start shooting a ball, do 10 reps without a basketball from the top of the key three point line where you are focusing on ending your shot with a perfect frame.

Hold your frame for 10 to 20 seconds after each rep.

I know this will feel and look weird but it will pay huge dividends.

After you do that, grab a basketball and shoot 10 shots from that same spot focusing on the same thing.

Even if your frame comes out of line, correct it.

What you will find after this is that when you catch the ball you can automatically just go to the frame.

You don’t need to think about shooting it, handling it, bobbling it or anything.

You don’t need to think about what your form looks like…

You just know how the end of your shot is going to look.

And from there, we’ve seen dramatic improvements in three-point shooting percentage and overall shooting percentage.

The first time that we taught this was with some of our middle and high school players…

One of the players had never made a three-pointer in a game…

He was an okay shooter but not a great shooter…

He ended up hitting 3 out of 4 threes in his next game…

And he talked about how easy and simple it was when you know how you’re going to end your shot.

Mastering the frame will minimize all the other mistakes that shooters make.

This is going to provide the highest return for anyone that wants to become a better shooter.

So master framing the basket.

Spend a few minutes to figure out what it looks like to be great on a frame.

No aspect of your shot matters unless you frame it correctly.

Secret 2: The Quiet Eye

That leads perfectly into the second secret.

Remember in the first one I talked about how it’s a mistake to work on footwork if we haven’t even talked about the target.

This secret is all about targeting and goes hand and hand with Framing the basket.

As we’ve been talking about, a big problem with many shooters is that when they struggle to make shots, they think it’s their form that is the problem.

So they are constantly changing their form.

Which makes them focus on their form more without realizing that the problem has nothing to do with their form…

And many times the problem has to do with what they are looking at.

When you are so focused on your form you completely forget that you have to actually dial in on your target.

Recent research shows that the best shooters actually fix their gaze or targeting on the basketball longer than shooters that struggle.

This gaze or look is called the quiet eye.

In other words, the best consistent shooters control their eyes and focus in a different way than the inconsistent shooters.

They have much more focus, before, during and after the shot.

So every shot you shoot, you should find your exact target as soon as possible and focus on it for as long as possible.

What scientists believe the quiet eye does is help the shooter to provide their brain with all the information that it needs to calculate and produce a smooth movement.

By focusing on the Quiet eye and framing the basket, you are naturally going to develop YOUR own perfect smooth form…

And that’s the difference.

You no longer become a victim of FSP (Form shooting paralysis)

But you develop your own perfect form without even thinking about it.

Quiet eye training is a way of helping you maintain focus and pay attention to what’s right at the right time and help you become a more accurate shooter.

Whenever I watch players shoot, I am shocked by how few of them actually look at the rim for a good amount of time.

What we’ve discovered is that if you train beginners in the quiet eye technique, rather than training them in typical form shooting, they actually get better much quicker.

This is done by looking at a player’s eye movement, head movement and using a simple video recording of their shot to see the duration of their targeting.

So film yourself when you shoot…

Watch your head and your eyes for every rep.

The beauty is secret #1 – Framing The Basket, always helps you work on secret number two – The Quiet Eye — because you are always trying to frame your target… that means you are focused on the target.

Now, one of the biggest questions I get from players is, “Where should I aim at when shooting? What is the actual target I should be focused on?

There have been studies done that have proven that all that matters is that you target a spot in the middle of the basket.

For example, if I’m at the top of the key, right in the middle of the basket is a little ring on the front of the rim where the net and rim meet.

Ironically this is where Stephen Curry targets when he shoots.

I recommend that this be your spot to target because it’s very easy to find.

With that being said, you could also focus in the middle of the basket or the back of the rim.

It’s all about preference.

All that matters is you pick a spot in the middle, whether it be front middle, mid – middle, or back middle and you STICK to that spot.

Does that make sense?

So don’t be a front of the rim shooter one day and a back of the rim shooter the next day.

Find your spot and then stick to it forever.

Focus on it every single time you shoot.

I emphasize “focus” so much because you will be surprised at how easy it is to lose focus when shooting… Even when you’re in the gym by yourself.

It happens all the time…

I will ask a player to shoot a few reps… then I will randomly stop him and ask him, “what was he focusing on his last shot…”

And most of the time he will say, “he doesn’t know. Or he can’t recall. Or he forgot to focus.”

You see, the mind wonders and without even knowing it, you will be thinking about other things…

You lose focus on your targeting….

You forget about framing…

Or worse, you are worried about how your form looked and if it looked like your favorite NBA player’s form.

Don’t be out there just shooting to shoot.

Shoot with a purpose.

The best shooters have amazing concentration.

That’s what the Quiet Eye helps you do.

It is a technique that virtually every player can use to improve their shooting no matter their skill level.

It’s very easy to learn and once you get it it stays with you forever.

The more you practice it the better you get with it.

Secret 3: The perfect arc for your shot

The next secret is something Coach called NBA Arc.

You want to have a great arc when you shoot a basketball.

Watch the Arc of some of the best NBA shooters.

This usually means that you want to have a higher arc than you have now.

Stephen Curry said in an interview that he used to just get tons of arc on the ball, because even if he missed it, his shot still looked pretty.

That’s how I want you to think about it.

Now I’m not saying you should try to have so much arc that your shot is hitting the ceiling…

But if I was watching you play with 9 other players on the court…

You generally want to have a higher arc than everyone else.

Now of course, there will always be some player who shoots the ball with a ridiculous amount of arc… really high and you don’t want that…

But you do want a high arc.

So you should practice shooting the ball high and straight.

By doing this you are going to practice getting more strength into each shot.

This is going to help you increase your range.

This is one of the secrets that helped me develop unlimited range on the court.

It’s how I was able to pull up from beyond the volleyball line in real games.

Increasing your arc will also help you shoot over taller defenders and speed up your release.

It’s going to help you increase your shooting percentage.

In fact, studies prove that a higher arc on a shot is much better for your shot than a flatter arc.

Also, like I mentioned before, your shot is just going to look prettier.

Even when you miss shots, it will still look good.

So if you are in tryouts and miss a few shots, people are still going to believe you are a shooter…

You will believe you are a shooter, which in turn will make you a better shooter.

So the next time you work on your shooting…

Focus on these 3 things…

  1. Framing the Basket
  2. The Quiet Eye
  3. NBA Arc

And I guarantee you will become much more confident and consistent in your shot.

Now of course, I haven’t shown you all the shooting secrets I’ve discovered over the years…

But these are a few that can definitely help you transform your game.

Now, if you’re interested in learning more, I have an entire shooting blueprint that I have my players follow that incorporates all these secrets and many more into the drills to help players like you quickly become lights out shooters…

And for the first time ever, I’m releasing it to the public…

I’ve put all the details inside a brand new shooting program that I’d like to give you access to right now.

It’s called: The 8-Step Shooting System – The Secret Formula To Become a Confident and Consistent Shooter in Real Games.

This is a proprietary system that I have spent years developing and testing with players of all ages and skill levels.

Inside this program, you’ll discover the 8 step process anyone can follow right now to become a better shooter.

I’ll be walking you step by step through every important aspect of really becoming a confident and consistent shooter and I’ll also give you the drills and workouts that you need to flourish in real games.

We’ve seen the training from this system work for players after just one training session…

We’ve seen parents be amazed at the progress their child makes following what we teach inside this program.

Imagine being the player that is confident in every shot you take…

Imagine being the player that is a consistent lights out shooter, no matter what gym you are in…

Imagine being the player that has, what they call, “in the gym range”…

All that and more is possible when you follow the training protocol that I have put together for you.

Don’t worry, I’ll show you exactly what drills you need to do, how to do them, when you need to do them, and for how long to do them.

All you have to do is follow the simple plan and reap the massive reward.

It really doesn’t get any easier than that.

But I’m only letting in the first 100 players that join today.

So if you wait, you will miss out.

Now, I don’t want to seem pushy or anything, but I like players that are action takers.

Those are the ones that are going to be dedicated to our training and do the work…

Those are going to be the ones that experience the results…

If you can do that then I guarantee this can work for you… FASTER than anything you have ever tried before.

That’s why I want to rush this 8Step Shooting System into the hands of anyone who is serious about becoming a better shooter and player.

This program usually sells for $199.

But you won’t have to pay anything close to that today.

That’s because I can tell you are a serious player…

And I want to get this program in your hands.

But that’s not all…

I also want to send you a special gift I have for you.

You see, we all know that the game of basketball is more than just shooting…

Once my system helps you become a lights out shooter you will be ready to fill up the box score.

But I don’t want you to be one of those guys who can ONLY shoot the basketball.

I don’t want you to be one dimensional and have to rely on coaches to draw plays for you to get your shot off…

What good is it to be a great shooter if you can’t create space for your shot?

Why not be able to create and get your shot ANYTIME you want against even the toughest defenders…

So that’s why I put together another elite skills program for you to help you develop elite handles.

It’s called: Handles For Days: Never Fear Another Defender

This skills pack will help you develop an unguardable handle that makes defenders fear guarding you.

You will be able to create space or get past defenders whenever you want.

You will feel confident with the ball in your hand knowing that the defender is at your mercy…

And you will drastically decrease your turnovers because of your new ball-handling ability.

This program also goes for $199…

But I want to send it to you for FREE as soon as you sign up for my 8-Step Shooting System.

And, I know I told you that my training has helped many players at all ages, and skill levels…

It’s because of this track record that some people consider me one of the top basketball trainers in America.

Now of course, I think we all know that all players are different and just because another player experienced massive results with my training doesn’t mean you will.

But those that follow everything I show them and do the training can drastically improve their all around skills and become the type of player they’ve always dreamed of becoming.

So what type of results can you really expect from my programs?

Well, rather than me telling you, let me share some notes from my players…

My players are happy because they are getting real results.

You simply follow what I lay out for you in the programs and you improve your game.

It’s as simple as that.

So how can you get started?

Well, know that a few days at any big name basketball camp will cost you around $750-$1000…

If you were to train with me at one of my smaller camps that I host it would cost upwards of $500 for the weekend…

And normal price for both the 8-Step Shooting System and Handles For Days is $199.

When you consider the type of results my players have experienced…

And being able to transform their game faster than they were able to from any other training or camp they’ve ever attended…

And even earn scholarships to play basketball in college (which saves them tens and thousands of dollars on tuition in the future)…

I think you’ll agree that paying the normal price of $199 is a fair for the 8-Step Shooting System.

But because you may not know me THAT well yet…

I understand I need to earn your trust first.

So I’m going to give you a special discount today.

It’s yours for just ONE easy payment of $67.

But wait…

There’s one more bonus program I’d like to give you as a gift when sign up for the 8-Step Shooting System.

You see, immediately after you start implementing the training I’m giving you access to today, you’ll notice your shot improving, getting more consistent, more pure…

You’ll notice your handles getting better, more effective…

And you’ll notice yourself getting more confident as a player.

Defenders won’t know what to do with you…

If they leave you open for a shot, you will knock it down…

If they guard you too close you will easily create separation for your sweet shot…

Or you’ll blow by them and get to the rim whenever you want…

But what happens when you get to the rim?

I’ve found that most players struggle to finish at the basket…

Especially the smaller guards.

I want you to have Kyrie-like finishing ability so you can score in the paint, at the rim, over and around taller defenders.

I want you to be consistent with regular lay ups, reverse layups, floaters, everything needed to make you a threat when you attack…

This can help you become a Complete Scoring machine.

This can make you TRULY unguardable.

There will be nothing any defender will be able to do with you… other than fear you.

And that’s when you become the dominant player you’ve always wanted to be.

This is why when you sign up for the 8-Step Shooting System today…

I’ll also give you another program called “Fantastic Finisher: The Simple Guide To Score More Points Around The Rim.”

As the name suggests… inside this bonus skills pack, you’ll discover everything you need to know to become a better finisher at the basket… no matter who stands in your way.

This program is also $199 but I’ll give it to you for FREE.

Let's quickly recap everything you're getting today as soon as you sign up for the 8-Step Shooting System

That’s a total value of $597.

And remember the normal price for the 8-Step Shooting System is $199.

But you’re getting everything I’ve promised today for just one payment of $67.

That’s a $132 discount.

That's 3 full programs for less than the price of 1

Why so affordable?

Let me be clear…

This price is low enough to make this a no-brainer for you…
